WhatsApp Now Allows Pinning Multiple Messages in Chats
In December, WhatsApp introduced the option to pin messages in one-on-one chats and group conversations. Initially, users could only pin one message per chat. However, there's a new update! Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and WhatsApp head Will Cathcart have announced an expansion: now users can pin up to three messages in each chat.
This feature allows users to pin various types of content like text, images, and polls. To pin a message, simply long-press on it, select "Pin" from the menu, and choose the duration. By default, messages stay pinned for seven days, but you can also opt for 24 hours or 30 days. After the chosen duration, messages automatically unpin unless manually removed.

Additionally, clicking on a pinned message allows you to navigate the entire conversation thread.
In group chats, admins can permit members to pin messages. When a message is pinned, all group members receive a notification. However, members who join after a message is pinned won't see it, nor will those who lack group chat history or delete the message before it was pinned.
