Samsung's popular mid-range tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, is gearing up for its third iteration in 2024, aptly named the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). Traditionally receiving upgrades every two years since its debut in 2020, this year's refresh appears to offer a more modest set of improvements, as per insights from WinFuture.de and internal sources.
Anticipated changes include the adoption of a new Exynos 1280 SoC, poised to replace the older Snapdragon 732G/720G found in the previous Tab S6 Lite (2022). However, beyond this processor update, the tablet's hardware specifications are expected to remain unchanged, boasting a 10.4-inch IPS LCD, an 8MP primary camera, a 5MP selfie camera, and configurations of 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, complemented by a 7040mAh battery.
According to the report, pricing details have also surfaced. The Wi-Fi-only variant is projected to launch at €400, while the cellular-enabled model will likely be priced at €450. As for the exact release date, it remains undisclosed at this time, leaving eager consumers awaiting further announcements from Samsung.
