Samsung debuts Galaxy Fit3: Big Display and Great Battery Life.
After numerous leaks, including some from Samsung itself, the tech giant has finally unveiled the Galaxy Fit3 today. This highly anticipated wearable introduces a larger screen, extended battery life, and a range of new features. Scheduled for global release starting tomorrow, February 23, the Fit3's pricing remains undisclosed for now.
Galaxy watch Fit3 Spec:
Sporting a 1.6" AMOLED display, the Fit3 boasts a 45% increase in screen size compared to its predecessor, the Fit2. It features a single button on the right side and a convenient one-click quick-release mechanism for the band. However, it's worth noting that the band does not support wireless charging; instead, it relies on a proprietary charger equipped with two pogo pins at its base.
One standout feature of the Fit3 is its support for Fall Detection and Emergency SOS. Users can trigger Emergency SOS by pressing the button rapidly five times, automatically sharing their location with pre-set emergency contacts.
Samsung claims the Fit3 can last up to 13 days on a single charge, thanks to its 208 mAh battery. Its streamlined interface, devoid of heavy operating systems like Wear OS, features simple mini apps such as Calendar, Weather, World Clock, and sports tracking.
While offering support for over 100 types of workouts, the Fit3 lacks built-in GPS. This means activities requiring outdoor movement will benefit from pairing the device with a smartphone for more accurate tracking. Additionally, the wearable tracks sleep patterns, steps, and stress levels, with all data conveniently accessible through the Samsung Health app.
Availability and Colour Variants
Available in Gray, Pink Gold, and Silver, the Galaxy Fit3 will initially launch in Asia, Europe, Central America, and South America. The United States and Korea are expected to follow suit in the near future.
