Vivo X Fold 3 in March; X100 Ultra Launch Revealed.
Smartphone enthusiasts can anticipate a flurry of new releases after the upcoming Chinese Spring Festival vacation, with Vivo poised to unveil a couple of exciting devices in the first half of this year. The launch timeframes for these highly anticipated gadgets, including the Vivo X Fold 3 series and the X100 Ultra, have recently been disclosed by the renowned tipster Digital Chat Station.
According to a recent Weibo post by the tipster, the curtain is set to rise on Vivo's foldable phone and tablet in March. This revelation seems to revolve around the Vivo X Fold 3 series and the Vivo Pad 3.
Sources suggest that the Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro will boast the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The former is expected to be a more budget-friendly foldable phone, while the Pro variant is likely to come packed with exclusive features, such as an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, wireless charging capabilities, and an impressive 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
Moving on to the Vivo Pad 3, speculations point towards it being equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chipset. Reports indicate a 13-inch display offering a 3K resolution and support for rapid 80W charging.
The leaked information also sheds light on the Vivo X100 Ultra's debut schedule, placing it after the launch of the Vivo X Fold 3 and Pad 3. This positions the X100 Ultra to make its grand entrance in the second quarter of the year, possibly in April or May. According to reports, this device is anticipated to feature a Samsung E7 AMOLED display, the potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and a quad-camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel LYT-900 main camera. Noteworthy specs include a robust 5,000mAh battery supporting 100W charging and 50W wireless charging.
