Poco X6 Neo Debuts: Same Hardware as Redmi Note 13R Pro
Xiaomi's subsidiary brand, Poco, has unveiled its latest smartphone today - introducing the Poco X6 Neo!
Sporting an eye-catching Gold hue, reminiscent of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, this new addition to the Poco lineup shares more than just its color scheme with its Redmi counterpart. The hardware specifications are identical between the two devices. It's worth noting that this particular model matches the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 13, distinct from the international Redmi Note 13 and the Redmi Note 13 5G.
The Poco X6 Neo sets itself apart as the family's first Neo series phone, even though the overlapping product lines may confuse. It has a 5G-capable Dimensity 6080 processor and comes in 8GB and 128GB RAM 12GB RAM and 256GB storage options. With a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, the 6.67-inch OLED display on the tablet offers Full HD+ quality.
On the front, a 16MP selfie camera is housed within a punch hole located at the top center of the display. Meanwhile, the rear of the device showcases a 108MP primary camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor.
Although the Poco X6 Neo boasts amazing specs, it comes with the outdated Android 13 operating system, which is unexpected given that the Poco X6 Pro in India runs Android 14, which also has HyperOS. A 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W charging powers the gadget. The phone also has a single bottom-mounted speaker and does not have an earpiece that may be used as a second speaker for stereo audio.
The Poco X6 Neo is exclusively available on Flipkart in three color options: Astral Black, Horizon Blue, and Martian Orange (the striking Gold variant). Pricing starts at INR 15,999 ($190/€175) for the 8GB/128GB variant and INR 17,999 ($215/€200) for the 12GB/256GB variant. The first sale is scheduled for March 18, 12 PM IST.
