Great news for Samsung Galaxy Watch enthusiasts in India! The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization has given the green light for the inclusion of blood pressure measurement and ECG capabilities in the Galaxy Watch4, Watch5, and Watch6 models, including both Pro and Classic versions.

To make the most of these health features, ensure you have Samsung Health Monitor installed on both your watch and a Samsung phone running Android 9.0 or later. Yes, the gatekeeping is real, but it's a small price for these cutting-edge functionalities.

Before diving into blood pressure measurements, be ready with an upper-arm, cuff-based blood pressure monitor for calibration. The calibration should occur every 28 days based on its readings.

ECG procedures are less complicated but still require a Samsung phone. A 30-second scan, during which you must remain still, captures the data. The ECG report, accessible through the ECG Monitor app, even allows you to input symptoms for a more comprehensive overview. Stay healthy and tech-savvy with these new additions to your Samsung Galaxy Watch experience
