Today, Asus unveiled the much anticipated Zenfone 11 Ultra, signaling a significant shift in the company's mainstream Zenfone series. Boasting the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and an array of cutting-edge AI features, the device introduces a notable departure in size compared to its predecessors.

Sporting a footprint akin to the ROG Phone 8 Pro, albeit with design modifications geared toward a broader audience, the Zenfone 11 Ultra boasts a substantial 6.78” LTPO AMOLED display. Featuring Full HD+ resolution and an impressive 144 Hz refresh rate, the screen achieves a peak brightness of 2,500 nits and is safeguarded by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Notably, a solitary punch hole accommodates the 32 MP front-facing camera.

Turning to its rear, the Zenfone 11 Ultra introduces a triple-camera configuration (a departure for the Zenfone line since 2021). Anchored by a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor complemented by Asus' 6-axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 3.0, the setup also includes a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 32 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

Emphasizing the role of AI, the presentation underscored features such as enhanced Bokeh in Portrait Video Mode and advanced object tracking. Additional highlights include a transcript in sounds, call translation capabilities, noise cancellation, and AI-powered wallpaper customization.

Powering the Zenfone 11 Ultra is a robust 5,500 mAh battery, supporting rapid 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. However, consumers will note the absence of an included adapter in the retail package, with only a USB-C cable provided.

The phone's bottom edge presents a bustling array of features, including a 3.5 mm audio jack, a speaker grille, a SIM tray, a USB-C port, and a microphone. Connectivity options encompass Bluetooth 5.4 and readiness for Wi-Fi 7.
