Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 users can now access the One UI 6 beta
Samsung has been keeping its foldables out of the spotlight ever since it first released One UI 6 beta for its S-series flagships. Okay, not any longer. Starting today, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 may both participate in the One UI 6 beta program, which is based on Android 14.
To sign up your Fold5 or Flip5 for the beta, open the Samsung Members app, where a sizable banner promoting the beta should be located at the top. Some reports claim that if you don't see it, you may need to remove and reload the Samsung Members app before it appears.
You must accept some agreements after tapping the aforementioned banner before receiving the first beta as an over-the-air update. Be aware that this download weighs in at 2.7GB for the Fold5 and is probably about the same amount for the Flip5.
After installing the update, the Flip5 will have build F731U1UEU1ZWJ2, while the Fold5 will be on build F946BXXU1ZWJ2. For the time being, the Fold5 and Flip5 may both be restricted from taking part in the beta in locations other than the US and India.
