Samsung Upgrades Camera on Galaxy S24 Ultra with New 200MP Sensor

A new Galaxy S24 Ultra leak has surfaced today. According to a report received from the infamous Ice Universe on X, the Galaxy S24 Ultra would have an enhanced 200MP primary camera. The 200MP ISOCELL HP25X, an improved model of the existing ISOCELL HP2, is most likely to be the new camera.

The present sensor's 1/1.3" size will be carried over to the new one. The list of features includes native 4-in-1 and 16-in-1 pixel binning, which translate into 50MP and 12MP images, respectively, as well as sophisticated Super Quad Phase Detection autofocus.

It's interesting to note that the S24 Ultra is also anticipated to include a brand-new, upgraded 3x telephoto camera. It is said to be a 1/2.52" camera with 0.7 m-pixel resolution and 50 MP resolution. That is a huge increase in sensor size, and it will probably have a large impact on image quality.
