Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Receives FCC Certification Ahead of Official Launch
Soon, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be available. However, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra versions were seen on a certification platform before any formal release, which suggests some of its characteristics.
The Galaxy S24+ appears on BIS, while the South Korean tech giant's Galaxy S24 Ultra was just seen on NBTC. The whole Galaxy S24 range has now been revealed on the FCC database. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra were seen with the model numbers SM-S921U, SM-S926U, and SM-S928U, according to the internet listings.
The FCC noted that the Galaxy S24+ model was being tested using a charger (EP-TA800) that enables 25W fast charging. This is noteworthy. Moreover, the certification demonstrated capabilities for 5G networking, NFC, and UWB connection. The dimensions of the Plus model, which measures 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.75 mm, were also made public. As of right moment, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC will come pre-installed in the Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung's flagship series is expected to come with 8GB of RAM, with up to 12 GB available in the most expensive models.
