Recent Geekbench scorecards have unveiled key details about Samsung's upcoming Galaxy A series smartphones. The highly anticipated Galaxy A55 is poised to debut with the latest Exynos 1380 chipset, marking a significant upgrade in performance. Meanwhile, its counterpart, the Galaxy A35, is set to retain the Exynos 1380 chip, as indicated by benchmark results.

The Galaxy A45 (SM-A356E) has been spotted sporting 8GB of RAM and is expected to ship with Android 14, likely featuring Samsung's One UI 6. x interface. Powered by the Exynos 1380 chip, fabricated at Samsung's cutting-edge 5nm EUV foundries, the device is equipped with four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four A55 cores running at 2.0GHz, alongside an ARM Mali-G68 GPU.

Previously utilized in select models like the Galaxy A54, F54, and M54, the Exynos 1380 exhibited notable improvements in both multi-core and single-core performance compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 1280. Both chips feature the Mali-G68 GPU, with the Exynos 1380 showcasing superior performance.

In a bid to outperform its predecessor, the Galaxy A55 is expected to leverage the AMD Xclipse 530 GPU paired with the Exynos 1480 chip, promising enhanced graphical capabilities. Notably, last year's Galaxy A34 featured a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chip with similar CPU and GPU configurations.

Leaked images and information provide insights into the design of the upcoming Galaxy A35 and A55 models, with live images offering a glimpse into their aesthetics. Additionally, leaked repairability scores suggest marginal improvements for the A35 compared to its predecessor, the A34.

While Samsung has yet to announce an official launch date for the Galaxy A35 and A55, past trends indicate a probable release in the coming month, considering the debut of previous iterations like the A34 and A54 in March.
