Samsung A25 5G in India: 50MP OIS, 120Hz AMOLED
Samsung introduced the Galaxy A25 5G alongside the Galaxy A15 5G in Vietnam earlier this month, and as anticipated, the duo has now arrived in India.
Positioned as the latest additions to Samsung's lineup of budget-friendly 5G smartphones, these models take the baton from their predecessors, the Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A24 5G. The Galaxy A25 5G, while adopting the familiar flat frame and vertically aligned cameras characteristic of Samsung phones, brings a novel touch with its 'key island'—a raised platform for the side buttons.
Showcasing a 6.5-inch AMOLED display embellished with a subtle dewdrop notch, the device touts a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels (FHD+). Adding to the visual allure, it offers a lively 120Hz refresh rate and a noteworthy peak brightness of 1000 nits.
Beneath the surface, the Galaxy A25 5G is powered by the Exynos 1280 SoC and runs on One UI 6 based on Android 14. In the imaging department, a triple camera system on the back collaborates with a 13MP front-facing shooter. The rear setup comprises an OIS-assisted 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper.
Connectivity options are diverse, including dual SIM support, 5G capability, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and a USB Type-C port. Notable features include dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a MicroSD card slot, and a cherished 3.5mm headphone jack.
Ensuring endurance, the Galaxy A25 5G relies on a substantial 5,000mAh battery, complemented by efficient 25W charging.
