OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Flagship Phone Launched with 10,000 sq.mm Cooling System

In China, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro makes its official debut.  It has a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU and up to 24 GB of RAM, among other specifications. Thanks to a revolutionary vapor chamber architecture created by OnePlus, the new smartphone has cooling solutions covering almost 10,000 square millimeters for the first time.

Oneplus Ace 2 Pro and the Specifications it Offers:

The Ace 2 Pro's front display is a 10-bit 6.74" AMOLED with a 2772 x 1240 pixel resolution. The panel can achieve 1,600 nits of brightness under certain conditions and offers a 120 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it has a 93.9% screen-to-body ratio, 100% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB color gamut, and Always-On Display functionality.

The OnePlus family's Qualcomm processor is not brand-new, but it is an upgrade over the Ace 2. It elegantly combines LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.0 storage in three configurations, improving performance while reducing power consumption for the CPU and GPU.

The Ace 2 Pro's vapor chamber now has dual-circulation heat dissipation, bringing the overall area to 9,140 sq mm. This comprises many layers of thermal gel and graphite, two superconductive materials that allow heat to dissipate more quickly and prevent the device's interior components from overheating.

Although OnePlus does not market the phone as a gaming headset, there has been much discussion about how well it works with mobile games. The Ace 2 Pro features at least 15 separate parts that may work as antennas, which is more than the Ace 2, and some software updates increase Wi-Fi reliability. The entire device is encased in metal to act as antennae, which is nothing new. Additionally, at least 100 titles support a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The Ace 2 Pro has three cameras on the back: a 50 MP main camera with PDAF and OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. The 16 MP Samsung sensor in the front camera, which has an f/2.4 aperture, is equally underwhelming

OnePlus decided to put a lot of emphasis on charging. Although 150W is nothing new in the company's lineup, considering that the Ace Pro already supported the same rates, it is remarkable in a market where flagships are entering with dual-digit standards. According to estimates, the proprietary SuperVOOC charger requires 17% more time than a typical 45W PD adapter to charge a phone from 0% to 100%.

With a SuperVOOC S power management chip, the Ace 2 Pro offers a warranty for "long-term charging protection" as well as manages the temperature, charging rates, and screen. On top of Android 13 is Color OS 3.1, which serves as the phone's operating system.

Color, Storage, price, and availability in China

There are two color options available: Aurora Green and Titanium Gray.

Storage variants and price tags are as follows;

• The 12/256 GB variant has a starting price of CNY2,999 ($410/€375)
•  The 16/512 GB for CNY3,399 ($465/€425),
• The price of the potent 24 GB RAM version is CNY3,999 ($550/€500), which also comes with 1 TB of storage.

The limited edition will be available seven days after the first sale, which is set for next Wednesday, August 23. We can only hope that this smartphone will soon be released outside of China as the OnePlus 11T considering how the original Ace Pro relaunched as the OnePlus 10T.
