OnePlus 12 debuts: SD 8 Gen 3 chip, IP65, 50W wireless charging
In a unique event held in conjunction with the company's tenth anniversary, OnePlus officially unveiled the OnePlus 12 in China. With the most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, up to 24 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage, the OnePlus 12 is among the most remarkable new phones. After being left off of the OnePlus 11, wireless charging is back, and the company has given its most recent flagship an IP65 classification to protect it against dust and water jets.
Oneplus 12 Design and Display
The 6.82-inch curved LTPO AMOLED panel up front has a customizable refresh rate of 1-120 Hz and a resolution of 1,440 x 3,168 pixels. The BOE-made panel is said to have a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits for HDR content or 1,600 nits for everyday use. OnePlus also boasts a 2,160Hz PWM dimming feature and blue light filtering that leads the class.
Oneplus 12 Specifications
A Hasselblad-branded camera system with a 50 MP primary shooter with Sony's dual-layer stacked Lytia 808 sensor is visible when turning around the rear. This sensor, which has 1.12µm pixels and a 24mm equivalent f/1.7 lens with OIS, is the same one used in the OnePlus Open.
A 64 MP telephoto module with an optical zoom of 3x and an in-sensor zoom capable of achieving up to 6x lossless magnification complements the primary shooter. A 48 MP ultrawide camera with an IMX581 sensor, equal to a 14mm lens, serves as the third shooter.
In China, the OnePlus 12 runs ColorOS 14.0, which is based on Android 14. For other markets, OxygenOS 14 is probably what will be released.
The phone boasts the biggest dual-cell battery seen in a OnePlus phone to date—5,400 mAh. Notable features of the OP 12 include 10W reverse wireless charging and up to 50W wireless charging. Up to 100W charging rates are available if you prefer traditional cable charging.
In addition to supporting the most recent versions of Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7, the new flagship also includes an IR blaster and a USB Type-C 3.2 connection for quicker wired transfer rates.

The OnePlus 12 is available in white, emerald green, and black. The 12/256GB model is priced at CNY 4,299 ($607) in China, while the variant with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage is the most expensive at CNY 5,799 ($818). In China, the OnePlus 12 is now available for pre-order; open sales begin on December 11.
The OnePlus 12 may not be available to the general public until well beyond January 2024. A date for the formal global launch has not yet been announced by the corporation.
