Mediatek Dimensity 9000 vs Snapdragon 8 Gen 1: Has Mediatek gotten it right? .

Mediatek finally has a chipset in the Dimensity 9000 that can rival Snapdragon's flagship chipset

dimensity 9000 vs snapdragon 8 gen1

Today, we will be comparing the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, we will never get tired of pitching Mediatek against Snapdragon because arguably, these are the powerhouses of the mobile chipset industry.

In time past, it used to be MediaTek for the midrange class and snapdragon for the high-end class.

But snapdragon started offering amazing chipsets for similar prices to MediaTek's, it was inevitable that Mediatek would return the favor and try to steal some market share of the high-end chipset.

Mediatek’s latest try is the Dimensity 9000 which was launched a few weeks back, according to Mediatek, this chipset will offer flagship performance in mobile devices, but bear in mind no smartphone has emerged with this chipset yet.

dimensity 9000 1

Specification-wise, Mediatek Dimensity 9000 is not far behind when compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but this might not be the case in real-life analysis. But until the Dimensity 9000 is featured in a physical device, we cannot ascertain its true capabilities.

Rumors are rift, that the Dimensity 9000 will be present in the incoming Redmi k50 series that is expected to be unveiled on December 25th, 2021.

But what do you think? Has Mediatek finally gotten it right this time or is Snapdragon still the King of high-end mobile computing Chipset?
