Infinix unveils its newest lineup of Hot 40 series.

The Hot 40 series, which includes the three phones Hot 40 Pro, Hot 40, and Hot 40i, was unveiled by Infinix. A 5,000 mAh battery and a software function dubbed Xboost gaming engine are included with every device to help the hardware perform better when gaming.

The most potent of the three is the 6nm Helio G99 CPU found in this smartphone. With a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, it features a 6.78" Full HD+ resolution LCD. Only 8 GB of RAM is available on the Hot 40 Pro, along with 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.

Its 108 MP primary camera makes the Infinix Hot 40 Pro the best. There's a 2 MP macro camera and what seems like an "AI cam" next to it on the rear.

Infinix created a Magic Ring, a notification zone akin to a Dynamic Island, surrounding the 32 MP selfie shooter inside a punch hole. It provides information when the phone is charged, unlocked, or used while on a call.

The Xboost engine, an Infinix game launcher, enables "enhanced stability" during gameplay. Three different levels of game immersion are matched with three different layers. If not, Android 13-based XOS 13.5 is loaded when the phone powers up.

With the 33W charger that comes with the device, Infinix claims that you can charge the Hot 40 Pro's battery from 20% to 75% in 35 minutes. In addition, the battery has a 1,600 charge cycle capacity, which is more than four years of continuous phone use.

The Hot 40 Pro is available from Infinix in four different colors: Horizon Gold, Palm Blue, Starlit Black, and Starfall Green.

Most features of the basic Hot 40 and its Pro sibling are the same, including the 6.78" LCD, 33W charging capacity, and 5,000 mAh battery. Surprisingly, the display boasts a higher touch sampling rate of up to 270 Hz while having a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz.

The primary camera is another distinction. The 50 MP f/1.6 camera of the Hot 40 is paired with the same pointless 2 MP macro + AI cameras. Fortunately, the 32 MP selfie camera is once more concealed behind the Magic Ring.

With a 2.0 GHz CPU, the Hot 40 has a more subdued 12nm Helio G88 chipset. There is 128 GB or 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. The four colors that the Infinix Hot 40 comes in are the same as those of the Pro: blue, gold, black, and green.

The cheapest phone in the series is the Hot 40i. The Unisoc T606 chipset is equipped with an octa-core CPU, which consists of six Cortex-A55 units for efficiency at 1.6 GHz and two Cortex-A75 performance cores operating at 1.6 GHz. The Mali-G57 MC1 GPU operates at a frequency of 650 Hz.

A 6.56" LCD with HD+ resolution is likewise a degradation, but at least Infinix maintained the 90 Hz refresh rate and added a 180 Hz touch sampling rate. There are two storage options: 128 GB or 256 GB, and 4 or 8 GB of RAM.

The Hot 40i's camera island is similar to the Hot 40 and Hot 40 Pro's, with a 50 MP primary camera and an AI camera. Still available, though, is the 32 MP selfie camera with the Magic Ring. It should still be based on Android 13, even with the launcher changed to XOS 13.0.

The 5,000 mAh battery can only charge at 18W rates, which is another compromise made by the phone to maintain its cheap cost.

The colors of the Infinix Hot 40i include Blue, Gold, Green, and Black. The new series' price was not disclosed by the corporation. It just mentioned that the lineup is around $200 and that prices will differ depending on the market.
