The highlight of Apple's patent portfolio. Which totals more than a trillion dollars, is a two-in-one iPad design.

As reported by IT Home earlier this month on 12 July.  The United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO) published a list showing that Apple had acquired 53 patents.

APPLE ALLOWS SMOOTH PAIRING BETWEEN DEVICES.

A bendable shell and an inventive design evocative of the current iPad featured in the recently acquired design patent.

The top of the iPad is shown to be firmly bonded to the shell in an illustration. This allows users to remove the iPad and use the shell as a flexible support for various settings.

It becomes very clear from the patent sketch's description that the shell assembly is compatible. And it can pair with several wireless protocols, including WiFi, Bluetooth, and ultra-wideband (UWB).

When two shell-equipped devices are close to one another, they can easily communicate and share information.

Apple continues to be creative in other ways as well. The patent filings also provide a sneak peek at possible iPad designs, showing how the casing can accommodate a virtual keyboard with gesture detection. Which also include swipes, pinches, and complex finger actions.

This breakthrough in iPad design highlights Apple's commitment to pushing boundaries and reimagining user experiences.

By introducing this new feature, which is the two-in-one functionality. The firm aims to enhance productivity and adaptability.

And this aims will empower users to transition between different modes and scenarios.
