Google has announced that its AI-powered editing tools, previously exclusive to Pixel phones, will now be available to all Google Photos users. This update includes advanced features such as Magic Editor, Photo Unblur, and Magic Eraser, which will be accessible without any subscription requirements.

The Magic Editor, which uses generative AI to facilitate complex photo edits, was initially launched on Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro devices. It allows users to reposition subjects within photos and alter backgrounds with ease. Now, this tool will be extended to all Pixel devices, and Google Photos users on Android and iOS will receive 10 Magic Editor saves per month. For unlimited access, users will need a Pixel device or a Premium Google One plan with 2TB or more.

Photo Unblur and Magic Eraser are also part of the package, enabling users to sharpen blurry images and remove unwanted elements from photos, respectively. These tools are designed to enhance the photo editing experience for users without requiring professional editing skills.

The rollout of these features will begin on May 15 and will be available on devices that meet the minimum requirements. Google's initiative aims to make photo editing more accessible and intuitive for everyone, allowing users to perfect their shots with just a few taps.

This update is expected to democratize high-quality photo editing, providing users with powerful tools to enhance their digital memories.
